Swoon. Looking at designer clothing always feels a bit like cheating on my credit card with my eyes. But it's worth it. The campaign images for the new Gucci pre-fall collection have just been released and they are gorgeous. I love the 1940's feel, emphasizing the female shape with snug tailoring, sharp lines and giving it all a slightly darker twist with touches of leather.
The campaign was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott (Mert and Marcus) with Russian model Daria Strokous and Bastiaan Van Gaalen from the Netherlands. Set against the metallic backdrop the aim was to create an almost surreal, dream like feeling.
